Springfield, MO and St. Louis, MO. Newborn photographer :: Newly Born Casen

Remember when I had the privilege of taking maternity photos for this beautiful couple? Well, their stunning baby boy arrived this fall and I had the honor of capturing his week-old wonder too! He was seriously the best newborn I've ever been around - totally chill no matter what we did! Made our job easy! :)

I love little moments like this...mama and baby, quiet and sweet...

Casen's daddy is a farmer so it only seemed suitable that he should have his pictures taken with his cowboy boots and hat!

And his fishin' pole too, of course!

First photos as a family of three...

Sweet Casen, thanks for letting me take your pictures, buddy! You sure are a charmer and you have the sweetest parents to thank for that! Can't wait to watch you grow up, little man!

Springfield, MO Couples Photography :: Harding 1st Anniversary

At the beginning of the summer (I know, I know...we' super behind on blogging! Trying to get caught up!), I had the chance to take first anniversary photos for this adorable couple. I love that they wanted to capture themselves, just as they were, after their first year of marriage. Too often, a couple's only professional photos of themselves are from their wedding day. My husband and I are even guilty of that! I think it's so important that we take the time to really capture ourselves - our marriages, our families, our lives - on more than just one big day, but rather, as we grow each year!

Hannah and Luke love to read together and this cute little dock made the perfect spot to grab some shots of them doing just that!

Hannah and Luke met at college and wanted their photos to be taken on their college campus. I was thinking we'd be taking photos around buildings and libraries. Instead, they took me to the hidden fields and valleys behind the school that made such a beautiful backdrop for their photos, don't you think?

Aren't they adorable?

Thanks again, Hannah + Luke! Congrats on your first year...here's to many, many more!

Before it got too crazy out out this summer, my husband and I had the privilege of taking beautiful Reagan's senior pictures. She's simply stunning and made everything seem so effortless! It was so much fun to capture her + her personality through these photos!

Thanks Reagan, for being such a fantastic model and letting us capture your gorgeous smile!!

St. Louis Family and Maternity Photography :: Ketteman Family

Earlier this summer, we had the honoring of capturing some of our dear friends, the {growing} Ketteman family. It was a beautiful night for photos and we certainly had some beautiful subjects! I'm pretty sure Kim was seriously glowing...her joy radiates from her head all the way down to that gorgeous baby bump!

Soon-to-be Big Sister, Claire, is just about as adorable as they come with some of the biggest brown eyes you'll ever see...

We had such a blast with them, mainly because they make everything they do fun!

Here's a few more of my favorites from the session...

Isn't Kim stunning?

They were so excited to meet their little boy!!

Ketteman Family, thank you so much for letting us capture your sweet, sweet family. We love you guys dearly!!

Their little guy arrived last week, so stay tuned for their newborn session!! He's a handsome fella! :)

St. Louis Family and Maternity Photography :: Shay Family

Earlier this summer, I had the privilege of capturing this precious little family of three before they became a family of four!  They are just about the sweetest people you could ever meet, and it was such a joy to spend an evening with them. Two-year old Hudson was full of energy and ready to give us a run for our money, but by golly, we were determined to get a great family shot! It may have been the last picture we took, but it's a keeper!

Here are some of my favorites from the rest of their session...

Katie was only 6 weeks away from her due date, and I'm so glad we were able to capture her growing baby belly before her new little lady arrived!

Hudson had just celebrated his 2nd birthday and his parents wanted me to capture him in all of his wide-eyed, goofy, toddler wonder.

Isn't he charming?

Thanks, Katie and Barrett for letting me take photos of your adorable little family! And congrats on your new little one!!
